Hey every one every thing is going really well,
god has been doing a lot of work in my life with things I didn't even know I
struggled with so that is cool and I am enjoying seeing god work in my life and
in others down here, and getting to experience a lot of change so that is very
cool. Next week we have about 140 people here so that is going to be really
stressful I am going to go out and build every day next week, we will have ten
groups, going out to build four days next week so any prayer regarding that
would be greatly appreciated, but other than that every thing else is going
really well |

Hey every one, well so many things have happened lately first off I want to thank the men’s trip for coming down the last three days have easily been the happiest I have ever been in my whole life and there are many reasons for that first and most that god is truly working in my life now I am seeing change that I love, also getting to see all of my brothers from the church was just such a joy to get to hang out with all of you and the last reason since many of you already know I figure that I will just tell you all so you all know the same thing, since I have been here I have developed a very very good friendship with one of the staff members down here Alicia she is an incredible girl with her heart set on advancing gods kingdom and I am in love with that, so as for now our plans are that after our time here in Mexico she is going to move back in with her parents and I will attempt to buy a house in San Diego we will both be working to save money for a missions school and for living on mission, Alicia will also be going to college to learn to be an art teacher her goals being that she will be an art therapy teacher over seas to children that have suffered a lot, while I will continue to be a mechanic overseas, so if every thing goes well them in three or four years we will hopefully get married sell the house that will hopefully have gone up in price, and head off to a missions training school there we will be praying that god shows us where we are to go then during the two years at school go on a short term trip to where ever we are thinking at the time and then in six to seven years from now we will hopefully be heading to somewhere in the world . So I am telling you all this for a couple reasons so that you know what is going down here and in my life but mainly so that you can all be praying for us there are many things that need to happen between now and then so pray for anything in regards to the above, also be praying for her and her family especially her father (no father is happy to let her daughter go) pray that we go threw hard times together so that we can learn and grow together and with god during this time, and please I am new at this please write me with thoughts questions and advice, because I really do want things to work out for us and us working for god.

Last night was a very fun evening we all get
dressed up and went to the international justice mission banquet, at the Hyatt Regency
Hotel it was a very fancy hotel and the dinner was amazing quit possibly the
most fancy meal that I have ever eaten but the banquet was very nice they
talked about there mission and gave stories of people that lives have been
changed threw I J M if you haven’t gone to there web page I would highly recommend
it they have a pretty nice organization set up but after the dinner we headed
to la Jolla beach it is kind of nice being that close to the ocean it was very
nice and then we had to rush back to Mexico so we could get some sleep for work
the next day. |

other day when we went out to build there was really bad wind which is worse to
build in than the rain one house fell over before it was half way done so that didn’t
get finished so on Tuesday we went out and finished that until then we have no
groups in until the men come down so I am looking forward to seeing you guys |

Hey every body thank you all so much for the
support this month and the prayers they are all so greatly appreciated. And we
are in the countdown 15 days to go I cant wait to see all the men coming down
the place looks great we have finally finished most of the work around here new
paint it looks a little different from the last time every body was down but
any ways what I have been up to, I have been working on cars a lot still
keeping every thing running and on Friday we had our open house so the new building
is technically finished so that is cool but there is still a lot of work going
on, it has been raining a lot the last couple of days and we noticed the roof
leaking in a lot of places so we calked some of the holes and then today we
re-roofed the entire old building so that was a good day of work and hopefully
next time it rains the roof wont leak, and by the way the discipline for this
week is that we cant use any mirrors except for driving, and also right now we
are also memorizing James, we finished all of psalms 42 and are going to
attempt to memorize all of James so that will be fun to see how that goes, but
any way thank you all so much for all of the support and every thing you guys
are doing back at home I hope you are all enjoying the snow so you know it was
about 75 blue sky, with a slight breeze while we did the roof but any ways
thank you again o and by the way here is a picture of our group down here on our first staff build together

ok well we have kind of been with out a computer for the last two weeks
so i will try to catch you up on as much as i can for now in order the
best i can, Thursday we went our with another missions ministry down
here in Mexico where eddie first started working in Mexico i cant think
of there organization right now but they go to different areas twice a
week and set up showers to bath children that have no other means of
bathing and then give them a new set of cloths it is a very cool
opportunity for the children, then on Friday we has a group of a bunch
come it and they were building eight houses and we have eight staff
members so every one had to go out and build on their own that was a
little scary since i had only build twice before as a staff member but
we got out there and the location was perfect and the house got up
correctly so that was very cool to be able to do that, and then they
left on Sunday and a new group came in for the week from Canada they
were a really fun group because there were only twelve of them so we
got to know them very well for the most part of this week i worked on
cars the whole time for the most part, the big project right now is
trying to get a 78 ford pickup running and and in shape to go out and
be used for building so that was all of last week and will probably be
most of next week as well but it is going to be an amazing truck when
it is finished, but our discipline for last week was to find an
unreached people group and then do a report on them but when the
computer broke that was delayed and then or discipline this week is
that we cant spend any money for our selfs, so that one is not too hard
but other than that life here is going really well we are also reading
one mission book a month and doing a report on that so i am being kept
really busy trying to get all of that done, the weather lately has been
kind of cold and it has rained a lot the last few days but luckily it
has been at night so i haven't had to work in it so that is nice but it
made us realize how many of our vehicles dont have wipers or something
to that effect doesn't work on them so yesterday was pretty much
entirely devoted to making wipers work and getting new wiper blades so
the next time it rains it will be nice to drive or at least we will be
able to see what is going on, and last night was a lot of fun as well
the girls had a girls night so we has an anti girls night we ordered a
pizza that was about three feet diameter it was so big and the six of
us guys finished it off and then we has a little air soft war and then
watched the patriot it was a nice guys night, so yeah i am getting to
know every one better and things are going great i am reading and
learning a lot and i want to thank you all for the prayers for every
thing and specifically the prayers for Algeria i feel that god gave me
some direction on that and i would want you to pray for me now in
regards to Guinea they are an open country but there are very few
believers there and i dont know what my future holds yet but i figure
now is a good time to figure that out, thank you all so much for every
thing that you guys are doing back at home |

Hey there every body I just want to let every one know of our discipline this week not really expecting any one to follow along with it this week but I want you to know, that our discipline this week is no phones, no computers and no music, so I wanted to let you know that if I haven’t send you back an email tonight I wont send any more out until Wednesday or Thursday of next week so I am sorry for the incontinence if for some reason there is an emergence get a hold of Eddie or marry and then them know the situation so it can be dealt with other than that you all have a good week keep up the prayer and I will talk to you all in one week |

work is going well mostly just been doing maintenance work lately but right now I have taken the entire steering column out of a truck and need to get a new one to replace it with so that is really hard to learn with out breaking stuff and no one to ask or manuals to check with but it is going really well I am trying to get every thing running by Friday we have 100 people coming in so it is going to be loud and packed but they are going to build eight houses and we have eight trucks so they all have to be running good by this weekend so that is a big deadline for me but it is going well |

So today was really cool we had a cultural day were in the morning we got to go out to the open air market and with 50 Paso’s or five dollars buy as much food as we could and then in the evening we would go out to a family and give them the food to connect with the nationals, however there were a few problems that we had to over come first my partner (Mandy) and I didn’t know the roads any families or how to get to their house, how to speak Spanish or for the most part what we were doing but we bought the food and since we didn’t have a specific family or place to go or really know where we were at any time we just drove out in to Tijuana to find some one that looked like they needed food for a while all we saw were really nice houses but it was a great time to talk with Mandy and connect with her then after we had gotten horribly lost and it was getting dark I stared to get scarred so I saw a house and said because it is getting dark we are just going to go here whether they need to food or not, we got out and there were two men talking we waited until they were done and told the man that lived there that god had brought us to him to give him food he did not understand English but the man he was talking to said in English tell me what you want to say and I will tell him for you so we talked with him for a while gave him the food and threw the translator said want eggs we interpreted it is him saying that he wanted eggs we showed him the food that we did bring and told him sorry we could not get him eggs, so he walked away and came back with nine dozen eggs and gave them to us and said not you want eggs and then continued to say that if we ever need eggs to come back and he would give us egg, he was a very nice man, and so we said are goodbyes and then off to the next hurtle to get home, we went back pretty much the same way we came and then turned right hoping for the best and jokingly I said it would be nice if this road came out in front of the taco stand and god provided at the end of the road right in front of us was a bright blue taco stand so we had an easy drive home every thing that we had to over come and get threw today god just put them all together and provided safety, direction, language, connection, growth what more can I say god is good

Hey every one I wanted to ask for your support for an opportunity that myself and the other staff members received, we where invited to a dinner sponsored by the International Justice Mission, it is a benefit dinner on march 8th however it is 95 dollars per person the majority of the money is used to help there program. The main idea behind the International Justice Mission is a human rights agency that rescues victims of violence, sexual exploitation, slavery, and oppression.
- Victim Relief - Relieve the victim of the abuse currently being committed.
- Perpetrator Accountability - Bring accountability and just consequences under the law to the specific perpetrator(s) of abuse.
- Structural Prevention - Prevent the abuse from being committed against others who are also at risk by strengthening community factors that are likely to deter potential oppressors, reduce the vulnerability of at-risk populations and empower local authorities to stop such abuses.
- Victim Aftercare - Provide access to services to help victims transition to their new lives and to encourage long-term success.
You can find all of there information and if you are willing to come to san Diego attend the dinner your self, or also they will be speaking in Seattle on May 3rd there is registration on line at, http://www.ijm.org/NETCOMMUNITY/Page.aspx?&pid=178&srcid=-2
But as I was saying I think it would be a great opportunity to hear more views on the world and yet another opportunity too hear someone that needs prayers, and as I said most of the money will go to help the organizations too, if you can sponsor me and the people in the program with what every you can to help, buy giving threw the church (Snoqualmie valley alliance ) offering with (“Christopher in Mexico on the envelope”) thank you all so much for you help sponsorship and love.
